parts car...

I bought a parts car back in November, it was hard to part this one as there were only 1725 Montego convertibles made in 1969, but this on was too far gone to bring back. The more I dis-assembled, the more I realized how bad it was. First pics are the beginning of dis-assembly in my parents garage. Note the old pop cans that fell out of the front fender when removed... LOL... Then we towed it up to a friends garage for the final stripping because he has a lift. Still need to get the front suspension pieces for disc brake conversion, and the nine inch limited slip diff, plus the wheels. If anyone needs a nine inch limtited slip 3.00 Ford rear, I'll have one for sale this spring. Also, a convertible top frame, and other parts... not much at all will go to the scrapper... Project stalled because of bad winter weather.

I took my Montego to the Hamilton Car Show and Parade back in July. I was only able to find two pics of my car from the show... Good news... It was the best Montego there... It was the only Montego there....
